I also have suffered from depression since I was around 8/9 years old. I always feel like I'm losing my breath and also used to feel like I had something stuck In my throat an get odd chest pain, but that's just caused by anxiety iv learned that now and tell myself it's just coz I'm over anxious and there's nothin wrong with me I try an keep calm an think of something else and it all goes away! The throat thing was worse when I'd go to bed an breathing also.

Yes if you have thoughts or ideas that appear outside of you or apart from you it would be essential to call this to your psychiatrist's attention so they could decide what might appropriately treat that. Also note if one medication doesn't work that doesn't mean another wouldn't and you could discuss that with your psychiatrist as well. I cant say where the problems involving breathing might be caused from but sometimes these kind of changes can occur during anxiety episodes but since there could be other causes it would be worthwhile to discuss this with your psychiatrist also.

and you could discuss these with your psychiatrist as well. Also you could ask them some more specifics about what they have noted and why they might have chosen some of the medications they did and how they believe they would help.
