That sounds a bit like me. I wonder if I have the low blood sugar thing too. You can also get the same kinds of symptoms without the blood sugar drop too.
But sometimes my moods are all over no matter what. Usually with the depression, it starts off with a trigger thought. I may have something not resolved or things happen that I didn't plan for, or changes...
There seems to be an incubation time on them too... I may not react right away, but when the memory hits my head, wham! I'm upset... and the more upset I am, the more the memory plays... It gets to be a never ending loop of anxious thoughts.
Also I find I like to reach out to people, but the more I reach out to people, the more I feel happy and the more I feel depressed... It's like I can't have it both ways... It's funny because I find the more people I talk to the more lonely I feel than if I just retreat and go back to being by myself.
Interesting, isn't it...
Wow, that's long and detailed. Thank you for the suggestion!!
My daughter is going through something like this now. Hypoglycemia seems to be involved. Or adrenal stress. I don't know. She has an appt. with my son's nutritionist on Oct.10. There are a few tests she can do (Amino acids, Organic acids, Gastrointestinal function, Metabolic Profile) that should figure it out.
In the meantime, try a balanced electrolyte drink, preferably one that has elevated magnesium in relation to calcium. Intracellular magnesium deficiency can cause these symptoms. We're trying Trace Minerals Electrolyte Stamina.
Hypoglycemia? No, I haven't ever had my blood checked.
Have you had your blood sugar level monitored or checked? It sounds like hypoglycemia.
i'd love an answer to this too!!! my moods are all over the place
