Don't They Understand?

It's clear to me that my meds need adjustment, but to do so, I need to go in for a blood draw to see what my ...something levels are. If part of the problem is extreme lethargy, how do they expect me to get out of the house earlier than I absolutely have to? Self-talk, breathing techniques & going away only help for just a little while before the anger & depression creep back up again. I'm hoping to make it in tomorrow. Wish me luck.

I haven't been on Prozac for years. It was really bad for me. I take valproic acid & (I think) Celexa, not to mention a bunch of other meds for allergies. Nearly all of them warn "drowsiness may occur." Ugh. I'm not going off of any of the drugs until the Dr's tell me to.

Some medications (like Prozac) can have a side effect of apathy.  If you have to get off a drug in that class, please taper it slowly.  I was getting brain zaps while getting off Prozac, Effexor (the worst!), and even Cymbalta.
