Lamictal/Wellbutrin combo

I am currently taking Lamictal 200 mg 2x a day for Bipolar II disorder.  I have been on it for 2 years now and it has been great.  I recently have had a case of bp depression so I was prescribed Wellbutrin 150 mg once a day.  I have been on it for about 3 weeks now and I am doing alot better.   I have not been hypomanic in 6 years just depressed ocasionally.  My ultimate goal is to be off all meds by next year so I can start trying for a baby.  My question is do you think it is possible to start tapering off the Lamictal and just be on the wellbutrin for awhile to help for the depression?

Did you ever taper and if so, how'd you do?

I forgot to mention I was only on 200mg of Lamictal, but my neurologist doubled my dose to help with optical migraines.
