How/When to take

I have just been prescribe 50mg Zoloft daily and 15mg Buspar (1/2 to 1 tablet) if needed for anxiety. 1) What is the best time to take it for a person working 3-11pm so I won't get tired? I was thinking of taking the Buspar in the day and the Zoloft at night? Any suggestions? 2) I am a little confused with the Buspar order. The insert/instruction state to take it on a regular basis to achieve a theraputic level. Will it help to take it whenever? Since my anxiey is pretty extreme now, I thought perhaps I should take it daily. Suggestion? My doctor did not explain anything to me. 3) Will I have a reaction starting both at the same time with no dose increments/increase? Thanks, your answer would be appreciated.

Zoloft at night is a good idea I think. I dont know much about buspar.
General info on zoloft;it takes at least two weeks to start to take effect, the first two weeks you might have side effects but they mostly pass.good luck!lily

Hi I was on Zoloft and it made me quite buzzy to be honest, not drowsy at all, so I'd take it about midday. I have not taken Buspar before but zoloft can make anxiety slightly worse, in an agitated sense so I'd take half a tab of Buspar in the morning and the other half after lunch. Its trial and error really though you will find out whats best for you.
Good Luck
