Is there an antidepressant that doesn't make you hot and so sweaty?

I've tried several antidepressants and I can't stand the heat and sweatiness that comes with them.  Any suggestions on a drug that doesn't cause this side effect?

I had sweating with Effexor and Cymbalta.  It's not just the discomfort; you don't want to add sweating if you already have oily skin - breakouts.  I think Prozac caused it, but I'm not sure.  I'm currently getting by with a very low dose of amitriptyline.  Not a lot of sweating with it, but it can cause weight gain and constipation.  I need to gain weight right now, so it's okay.

Which antidepressants caused sweating as a side effect?  I don't want to suggest something you've already taken.  Side effects vary from person to person.

This side effect is most common with Tri and tetra cyclic antidepressants. It's not so common with SSEI, and SNRI medication.

That's not to say that your not effected by this side effect from SSRI's and SNRI's.

Mood stabilizing meds like Lithium and Limictal are also bad when it comes to this side effect.

If an SSRI and SNRI's are causing this side effect for you then, I think you will find all AD medications have that effect on you.

I do know that if you can stick it out that this side effect should get better with time as you body adjusts.
