Is there any medication that is safe to take while conceiving? I am on Effexor, and I know it is dangerous for the fetus.
Your doctor is your best place to start for a question like this. I know many women while pregnant who have taken anti-depressants and some have managed to last the pregnancy without the use of any. You would need to discuss the risks/benefits with them and figure out what will work best in your own situation.

I wouldn't even presume to know the answer to your question. You need to see your OB/GYN for advice on what is safe to take while you are attempting to get pregnant. Please discuss this ASAP as the fetus is most vulnerable in the first trimester when you may not even know you're pregnant.
