You mean depression with Psychosis?

Seroquel is relitivly fast acting and in just a couple days it should start to work, but other aspects of the drug my take a couple weeks to build up theraputic blood levels in your system before you notice the full effect.

As for Abilfy, you can expect about three weeks at moderate dosage before it kicks in and starts working.

I may be off just a bit on the time lines, but pretty sure I'm close. They do act faster than SSRI and SNRI drugs do.

For more info try to do an internet search with the key words "how long before Seroquel works." trying different questions like that on an internet search will often bring up some sites that have that exact info for you.

Hi there,

Firstly Sally there are times when no one is actually here.

Secondly not that many people would be taking both those drugs so very few would be able to reply.

Thirdly you give virtually no information so it would be odd if someone did actually try and answer such a question. Why? Well all meds take varying times to react in different people and to different circumstances. There's no way someone can answer your question accurately based on no inforamtion.

Lastly, people try to answer whenever they can but sometimes when so little info is given people just don't want to risk saying anything misleading. Perhaps if you expand and put your request in persepective someone may be able to help.

And try not to forget everyone here is a volunteer and answers others posts when they can. No one works for this organisation here. Understand?
