New meds

I have been taking effexor xr, 150mg for a long time now to treat my anxiety and depression. I also take ritalin and xanax. I had not had any significant side effects ever. Recently, my doctor put me on Wellbutrin and increased my effexor to 225mg per day. I have been on them for two weeks now and have noticed some side effects and don't know if its normal or if it is coming from the wellbutrin or increase in effexor. I am extremely tired all the time now, feel dizzy quite often, and just kind of feel dumb or maybe its confusion. I just want to know if this is normal, first of all. Which med could be causing this, and how long it takes for the meds to take effect. I am not sure if I should stick it out and try to keep taking it because I have heard that side effects will decrease. Someone please help me out!

I would talk with your pdoc, maybe you need to adjust your dose, many switch off Effexor with Wellbutrin. That could be the "modus operandi" hmm. When in doubt call your doc, remember, you hired him, so it there are problems s/he should be accessible.
Effexor made me really dizzy, but I've never been on the combination. Hmm.

Thank you. Do you know roughly how long it takes for the wellbutrin to get in your system and whether or not side effects eventually decrease or go away.
