Generic Lexapro

I am having to switch to the generic version of Lexapro as it is now available.  Insurance wants the change and I am OK with it as the cost will be less.

My question is has anyone been on it and can they tell a difference??

I agree. Yay! It is such an expensive med. This will help so many people that are taking it with out insurance.

That is what my friend says, but she has a lot of mental health issues and lexapro works so well for her.  She can barely afford it herself.  Yeah, for patent ending!!!!!

I am in the USA and just got a letter from my insurance about the generic coming out.  Thanks for the info mammo.  I am going to get it anyway, but was wondering.

Can I ask what country you live in. I'm asking because I also take Lexapro and live in the states. I was not aware that is now available in generic form. I'm hoping for this as I have no health insurance and the cost is really high with this med. Sorry I could'nt answer your question. I hope you do well on it.
