Good, I'm so glad to hear your getting some relief already from the anxiety. This med worked pretty fast for me too.
I took it for about six years and gradually started feeling my anxiety coming back. I guess I could have tried a higher dose since I had been on only 20 mgs that whole time. But I decided to try another med.
Yes, your vision can be a little strange for awhile, mine was. But this side effect should go away.
If your able to handle the side effects, which should go away pretty soon, I would give this med about a month to see how you do on it. Take care and keep me up to date on how your doing. Remar
Today is day 8 and I'm taking 20 mg p/day.
The side effects have decreased a little since I posted this a few days ago. I am feeling less anxious. You say it stopped working for you - what do you mean exactly? Did your depression come back? I would hate for a med to stop working. I have been presecribed this particular antidepressant because I'm breastfeeding my baby and it's considered safer than other meds for that. I'm unsure at this stage if this med is the right one for me. I also get dilated pupils during the evening which make my vision a little strange. Is this an unusual side effect too? Thanks, Kate
How long have you been taking this med and what dose are you on? I took it for several years and did great on it. My panic attacks and anxiety were gone with in a week. Now, I did gain weight on it. That was my only side effect. I would still be taking it if it would'nt have quit working for me. We're all so different. If your having these side effects after being on this med for a couple of weeks then you need to see your Dr. This might not be the right med for you, or you may need an anti anxiety med while your adjusting.
