Perhaps your doctor may prescribe another SSRI. Welbutrin may be the culprit of your agony too. A lot of people do not have success with Welbutrin but most people have positive results with Prozac. There are so many good antidpressants available and sometimes it takes time to find the correct combination for you. I understand your urgency with vacation coming up. I would really consider contacting my doctor and follow his advise.
none of them seem to stinulate me i have no energy, but today im going to try to cut to 30 mg of prozac i do have imtense anxiety and have had for 20 years been on benzos, now my body is tingling again and i have a fearful feeling..gonna call dr//i should be able to get off this prozac my goodness when they first put me on it trying to find the right dose i eas up and down on it alll the time
I am anxious and be careful Welutrin gave me suicidal thoughts, the only time in my life i had them. I stopped it after 8 weeks, it did not help my depression in any way.
Go back to Doctor, try to focus outside of yourself in Alaska, good luck !
You have been on Prozac for what seems to be 3-4 months. It is well enough for your brain chemistry to adapt a little and therefore yeah withdrawal symptoms.
You seems to be a very anxious person and you are using a lot of stimulants. Wellbutrin is stimulating, Adderall is stimulating and Prozac is thought to be a rather stimulating SSRI compared to the other SSRIs. That being said I think your anxiety must be to the roof and I would gradually reduce the Prozac like you are doing and maybe halting the tapering the week before and during your vacations to avoid severe withdrawal symptoms but you may still get withdrawal symptoms. Does the withdrawal symptoms are worse than the adverse-effects you were getting on a full dose? Wellbutrin and Adderall is really not helping your anxiety and you should consider that. Looks like you have some Xanax to cope with at least. The Xanax might be useful during the tapering and during your vacations.
My final answer is that anxiety is making you withdrawal much more worse than it is.
