Is weight gain the norm for Cymbalta? I excercise regularly, watch my diet and still am not able to loose anything. It is very frustrating. I am on thyroid, but have it checked regularly, am a breast cancer survivor, take fosamax, and prescription Vit. D. Could any of that be associated with being unable to loose weight?
I started Cymbalta July 1st and stopped mid November 4 and half months. I put on 25 pounds and I am heavier than I have ever been, not exactly good for depression.

Hi,
I have been on antidepressants for 20 years and have put on 20 pounds. Maybe
that isnt too bad, one pound per year! But it is extremely hard for me to lose
weight even though I exercise regularly. My appetite is tremendous and my
willpower is zilch. I do think these meds play a part in it though but I cant
go without so I just keep trying. Best wishes to you,
