Welbutrin with other med's
My sister is weaning off of Effexor, as per her new doc's orders, (She's bi-polar) and he put her on Welbutrin. Is there any known side effects to being on both med's at the same time? the doc (psyc) wasn't too interested in her concerns, he was just in a hurry to prescribe med's, ERGGG!. I usually check med interactions at Drugdigest.com, but their site isn't working tonight for some reason. So thought I'd post here. Does anyone have experience with these 2 med's together? Thanks in advance!

From personal experience I can tell you that there aren't any side effects from combining Wellbutrin and Effexor. I took the two together for several months as prescribed by my doctor. While it didn't work for me, it didn't hurt me any either (other than the side effects i experienced caused by the effexor). I hope the Wellbutrin works for your sister. Best of luck.
