"Flu like symptoms" are common as regards withdrawal and for some medications they often don't start for a while as for a period of time they are still in your system. But that doesn't mean you couldn't also have the flu or minor food poisoning or any number of things. Best to speak to a doctor as to what is going on. And also the only way to discontinue a medication is under a psychiatrist's guidance and their direct titration schedule as withdrawal symptoms can and will happen as well as the return of what it was treating.
I know you are supposed to go through tapering, but without money to see a doc, and no money to pay for the monthly .... my hands were tied.
I suppose i'll wait through the weekend and see how it goes.
I wouldn't wait as many things could be wrong. There should be free clinics in your area. Go to one of them. Any outpatient hospital as well. If things get really bad go to the E.R. Don't wait it out. You could be eligible for emergency Medicaid and then that could transition into regular Medicaid. That's one option as regards health care coverage. But I would follow up regardless.
