Zoloft dosage

Hi There

I suffer from depression and am on 200mg Zoloft daily.  I increased my dosage after giving birth to my daughter because I (of course) had antenatal depression.  Every day I wake up with nervous tension and it is driving me nuts!  I was wondering if this is because I am taking a high dosage of Zoloft?  I am scared to go down because I don't want to be in that depressive place.

Hi,

I was on 200 of zoloft for depression and anxiety and it worked great for me for
4 years.  My pdoc gave me xanax for extremely anxious situations but I hardly
ever had to use it.

This is a question that you have to talk with your dr. about. Titrating your own dosage is not good.  Yes, high dosages of an AD, can cause anxiety, but somewhere you and your dr. can find a happy medium.
