Feeling Crap!!

Hi All
Went to a support group and they tell me I am going through withdrawals.
First on venlafluxine 150 mcgs
Then on 20mg's citalapram
Then on 75 mcg's of Dolesulipin
Reduced to 50 mcg's of  Dolesulipin accidentially took 25mcg's just one capsule. This is all in a few months now
I can understand what it would be like for a drinker or a drug addict!!
I am up and down like a yo yo, feel I carn't cope crying and physically not good. Been on the increased dose of
50 mcg's of Dolesulipin for 14 days how long will this horrible period last I have never felt so bad in my life!!!

Wow, with all the different meds I can see why you feel so bad!  Your medication can take up to 4-6 weeks to reach a therapeutic level.  I know this feels like a lifetime but try to be patient.  Is it a psychiatrist or a GP prescribing these meds?  Never allow your GP to treat you for this, they just aren't as knowledgeable with the meds.  Your doctor has had you on a lot of medications before they've had time to show if they would work for you. Maybe you had bad side effects from them right away, if so then he did the right thing.  If not I would continue on your medication and find a new doctor, you needn't be feeling this way.  Take care, I hope you start to feel better.

What kind of a support group ?  Is it for giving up medication or for depression in general.
You need a doctor really to help you with tapering.

Anyway i wish you luck

I don't have any words of wisdom but I hope you feel better soon. I saw a post called amino acids and Thomas's Recipe... >>>Do you have a list of anything that helps at all? IE does taking a bath? Watching tv? Find something that will lift you a little if you can. I know its hard. .
