effexor withdrawal

Has anyone tried combining the use of medical marijuana to reduce the withdrawal from Effexor XR? My husband gets the brain shocks as well as the brain fog when he just misses a dose. He has been on 300mg for more than 10 years maybe even 15 years. Please help if anyone has accomplished withdrawal.

I was on effexor twice about 8 & 10 years ago, and I chose to quit taking it.  I had no side effects of withdrawl.  I have currently been taking 150mg in the morning and another 75mg at night for the past year.  I decided to get off of them, and I only took the 150mg for a about 3-4 days with no major changes. This past week I only took the 75mg with out much change.  I haven't taken anything in the past two days, and today has been pretty crazy.  I've been having an outer body experience all morning, and I have noticed that my hands are very shaky. I honestly feel like I'm stoned out of my mind, but nothing too bad.  I'm just waiting to see what tommorrow brings and hopefully I can get off of these drugs with out much trouble.
