The guilt and shame you're carrying around for feeling low will only weight you down more. Yes, it's good to be aware that life could be much worse than it is now as it reminds you to appreciate what you DO have, but it doesn't mean you're not entitled to feel sadness. You're human! No matter what you do, you're always going to have emotions.
First of all, allow yourself to feel what you feel. Identify exactly what it is. Lonliness? Emptiness? A good way to figure this out is to ask yourself what you want. Many people haven't even took the time to figure out what they want in their life, but this is crucial in order to be happy. How can you continuously bring happiness to you if you don't know what makes you happy?
Once you can formulate a list of what you want-- anything from relationships to your career to your home to your hobbies to your physical appearance and what kind of person/mom you want to be-- you will be able to spot the void and take the necessary steps to fulfilling it. your life and your happiness is in your own hands. Know what you want, then CHOOSE to make it happen.
