Talk to your doctor before stopping both medications. Propranolol is for hypertension and the sudden stop of this medication could have a really bad impact on your blood pressure.
Citalopram should be tapered off slowly reducing dose at first then skipping doses until you are off the med.
The wise thing to do is to contact you doctor before you make any change so you get a tapering plan and the if you can stop propranolol or not. This would require your blood pressure being monitored closely while on and off the drug.

thanku for ur comments :)
I made the mistake of trying to stop taking paxill cold turkey a few weeks ago and it was a huge mistake! MMahon is definitely right about talking to your doctor first before you just atop taking any of your meds cold turkey. I thought I would be fine and I ended up going through the worst withdrawals that I have ever been through. This may not be the case for you but, talk to your doctor first just to be safe. Good Luck!
You really shouldn't stop any medications without the advice of your doctor.
Let your doctor help you to decide if now is the best time to stop. If it were me, I'd wait until I felt sure that I was better and felt that way at least 6 months before weaning off meds.
The only way we know if we need them any longer is to come off them. If they are helping us now then we can rely on going back on them in case they are still needed.
Let us know how you make out.
