Sorry that your note was taken like that. Sounds really frustrating. Some kids do disrespect their parents, but it might not mean they dont care. Sometimes they have issues in their life and they act out or maybe its what they learned. Yeah its awful that a lot of kids dont appriecate their parents but do the parents appriecate the kids too? I dont know. I actually think more kids more and likely argue with parents because most kids live with them so they rebell or something or other issues. Many reasons why it happens. I think there are plenty of people who do care about older people. And I dont think every kid who does disrespc doesnt care they just dont know how to act any differently or well I dont know because each person who does that is different. Anyway just my thoughts cuz I dont know if you are meaning kids you know personally or if you are just meaning youth that you see acting the way they do. I am sorry that you are feeling this way and that you are hurting.

i guess i was talking in general.  my daughter lives with me her daughter and her 4 yr old also live here.  i hear the way she talks to her it is so disrespectable.  she calls her bad names of course she is 24 and spoilt. i would never treat my parents that way i was brought to respect my mom and dad.  i have not seen too many kids that speak properly.  i am working on my great grand son to say yes maam but he laughs and tinks i am kidding.  he say what and huh.  but he is a precious little boy, thanks gloria789

Your welcome and sounds cute I hope you are able to teach your grandson how to be sweet to adults and how to speak properly too.

Thats another thing sometimes kids dont get taught how to be nice to their parents or other adults. So teaching is important and so is lots of love. Sometimes that can make a difference if not they might just have issues or be rebelling some. Usually they grow out of it when they grow up.
