if you can get a prescription from your doc...what about lunesta, ambien, ect. those didn't work for me, so my doc gave me trazodone, which is working WONDERS for sleeping. i sleep through the night about 99% of the time...it's good stuff. non-habit forming.
I go to sleep but I wkae up.alot.I like advilpm gels.also try to have a regular routine for bedtime.I take a bath or soak in the hot tub and meditate to get all the negative energy out of my brain. I imagine the negative vibes going down the drain. then I read alittle and go to sleep.
there are lots of meditations you can do to relax you as well. try not to drink caffiene or sugary snacks after 2 pm drink lots of waterinstead.
I hope this helps some.I went for 6 months without sleep and when I crashed it was bad. the joys of being bi polar .
