This is a difficult time for you. You will need support so you feel better and you can help your son deal with his illness.
Clonazepam will only help you sleep; also, it is habit-forming. It wont help much to take Clonazepam. You do need to talk to your doctor and discuss both your depression and the sleep problem.
Yes talk to your doctor as suggested above.
I take trazadone in the evening and it works very well for insomnia, or at least it does for me.
Talk to your doctor about your inability to sleep, and see what he suggests.

I'm sorry but we really can't advise you on which meds to take. Something that could make you sleepy might make me energetic. We're all so different and respond to meds differently.
Are you taking any meds right now? Are you having trouble sleeping because of them? Remar
