what do u think

my counsler thinks since i have tried so many meds and im addicted to benzos i should check into medicinal marijuana for refractory depression and anxiety..im getting a new pshy on june 2 and i think i will mention iit..there is a medical in my area thaqt is prescribing it for lots of people with anxiety and depression..i myself dont know much about it  as i tried it a couple times in my teens...counsler thinks i should try it now and see how i do.kinda scares me but what if it would help...i dont even know where to get any to try lol and besides im on xanx prozac and addrall dont know if it would be safe to smoke with thesed meds..........anyone done this before legally

Where do you live?  I have a hard time imagining a 'counselor' recommending medicinal marijuana for refractory depression, for refractory glaucoma, but not depression.
Marijuana may well help depression but I've never seen any medical evidence, or investigations into it's use for this.
I personally don't see it helping anyone on medication like you are.
It might make you giddy and 'happy' but depression is much more complicated then that.
Just my opinion.
