She DID seek a doctor's care, yesterday.
Hon, ALL doctors are available, you don't have to wait until your next appointment. If you're still having problems, you need to let him know. Like I said, call his office.
He just prescribed these meds for you on Saturday, so with the exception of feeling drowsy, which you need to let him know, these meds can take up to 4-6 weeks to start really making the necessary changes. It's important to try to be patient during the process. I know it is not easy. As far as the side effect, it may be as simple as your doctor telling you to split up a dose to twice a day, or taking a med at night instead of in the morning. Sometimes those kinds of simple changes make all the difference in the world. Drowsiness is one of THE most common side effects of all of these meds.
The good thing is, all of your meds are very typical starting doses. Of course everyone reacts differently, but I was concerned that maybe your doc started you on an unusually high dose of one of the meds. That's not the case.
Let us know what the doctor said!
Bottom line here is there are no doctors on this particular forum, you need to seek the advice of a good doctor to see which medications you should be taking & what dose.
Floxetine 20mg,Demetrin 10 mg,Zyprexa 5 mg
What are the mg of your meds? There has to be a way to get a hold of your doctor. Call his office during business hours.
i dont know how to contact my doc because he can accept my consultion only if a made an appointment, and my next its at 04.08.12.....my doses are : Fluoxetine 1- 0 -0(only in morning), Demetrine 1/2 - 0- 1/2 ,Zyprexa 0- 0- 1/2
should i take Zyprexa now because its time :(???? what to do?
If you're feeling that badly, you need to let the doctor know. What are the doses of the meds your doc prescribed?
