I ended up taking a small dose of a pill that helped me. Initially, I was worried about the adictive nature of this pill and side effects. But, somehow I came to the understanding that this med blocked my worrying almost completely. Then too realized that meds can help and may someday get oneself strong enough to not need them anymore.
More importantly, continue to seed advice on the net. I do and have read about many diversions to help me overcome my anxiety and depression.
Hi, I found my anxiety went side by side with my depression. Are you depressed?
I have found the anti-depressant medication has now stopped the anxiety. Before I felt better, I was a lot worse, and had to call a doctor out, I was so bad. Felt like I would explode. He prescribed two medications to take alonside my anti-depressant, until it kicked in. One was a beta blocker and the other a relaxant.
How are you managing your anxiety?
Anxiety can get worse if you're not doing anything about it. Keep in mind that anxiety feeds off of our worry and fears, so you need to learn how not to worry about it so much.
Worry = anxiety = worry = more anxiety, etc. Worry alone will make you sick. If you're not in therapy I would find a therapist to help you with this, and see a psychiatrist to determine if medication is needed as well. Take care...
