Alergic reaction to the sun

I am 68 and have never had any allergic reaction to the sun until this year. Could it be caused by a new med I am taking? (Neurontin) or addition of Vitamin D (1800mg for Arthritis).
I have  bumpy rash that itches horribly where ever the sun touches me.

"Neurontin or gabapentin has photodermatitis, pruritis and skin rashes as it side effects.I would suggest you to consult your doctor and get the prescription changed"

Well actually, after researching Neurontin, I found it is more than likely the cause, which is really what I wanted to know, however, it works very well....lol....so I guess I will ware protective clothing and carry an umbrella...lol
So, thanks for the heads up on the meds :o)
