Antibiotics (Doxylin 50) making my folliculitis worse

The dermatologist prescribed me antibiotics. It's been 11 days and so far it has only made my condition a lot worse. Is this normal or should I discontinue use. Will it get worse before it gets better? Any tips to treat folliculitis

I have a skin condition and I get folliculitis and boils often. I take a bactrim a day as a preventative. Per my dr recommendation I don't use razors anymore. Not sure if you're male or female but the Sally Hansen bikini wax is awesome and isn't as painful as strip waxing. I developed an allergy to hair removal creams. Dr said I could use an electric razor because it isn't as close a shave but it didn't really help me. Use warm compresses and triple antibiotic ointment on the areas. I usually just take long hot baths. As far as the medication, you should ask your dr. I know my folloculitis got better right away and ive only had one boil with the bactrim.
