Armpit feels irritated, but no rash

Starting Saturday night, I noticed my armpit started to feel irritated, but I didn't notice any type of irritation rash or anything of that nature. Armpit looks completely normal. I felt and none of my lymph nodes are swollen nor do I feel any pain when I press on my armpit, it's only the outside skin. Is there any recommendation on something I can take or put on it to get rid of it? It's extremely annoying.

You may want to stop the Zyrtec to see if it helps, but the irritation may be from the heat/sweat during this time of year especially- try to keep the area dry and clean- if that doesn't clear up the irritation give the doctor a call.

The only thing I've done differently at that time started taking Zyrtec for allergies.
