Break outs, acne.. only at the jawlines.. WHY?!

I'm 20 years old, i don't have acne problems before this.. but in this year it came to haunt me.. its getting worst at the jawline area and it left many small scars there.. especially on my right side's jawline.. left side's hardly got.. only 1 or 2 that pop out and goes off niicely. What causes the breakouts at the jawline ? And i'm currently using Cetaphil to clean my face every morning n night.. sometimes afternoon as well.. and i'm using Clean n Clear acne gel for my pimples spot now. Anyone who has used the Panoxyl acne gel for pimple spot b4 ? is it good ? i heard its good as it peels off a layer of the skin as it dries the pimples..

Hello,
It is common for acne to be present on the face and can be present in the beard area as well. Just keep you face clean by washing with a mild soap atleast twice a day. Pat it dry and do not rub it. Avoid picking or pressing the acne. You can also use Benzoyl peroxide 5% lotion or gel once at bedtime. An amount of lotion the size of a pea should be enough to cover most of your face. If your skin becomes red or peels, you are using too much of the medicine or applying it too often.  If the symptoms persist, then oral antibiotics may be needed. Please consult a dermatologist then.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

I am 14 and i have acne but it is very common for kids, and teens my age because of the hormonal change i our bodies. Really the only way to prevent serve acne is to just wash your face daily and pull your hair away frm your face. Don't over wash cause this can cause iritation.
