Cream Bleached My Skin!

I am an American currently living in South Korea.  I had what I believed was a relatively minor herpes outbreak on my skin.  I went to a pharmacy and had the pharmacist there look at my chin.  He gave me some cream and told me to apply it twice a day.  I went home and looked it up on the internet, the cream is used for various skin irritations, herpes is included in the list.  I just noticed in the mirror that the parts of my chin that I've been applying this to are lighter than the rest of my face.  Parts of my chin have definitely been bleached by this cream.  I am going to stop using it, but will I ever get my color back again????  And how should I deal with these constant outbreaks on my chin??

I thank you in advance for address my concerns.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
This cream contains steroid, antibiotic and phenolic preservative. It is less likely to cause any bleaching but it can cause an allergic reaction. Stop using this cream and consult a dermatologist to rule out the chin condition as herpes blisters and perioral dermatitis.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your dermatologist. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

Okay I've calmed down a bit, I think that my chin is returning to normal color.  It could just be wishful thinking but if I wasn't fairly certain, I guess I would still be freaking out.

Does anyone know the risks associated with those three chemicals?

I suppose knowing the name of the cream would help anyone knowledgeable enough to help me here.  The information on the tube is all in Korean, the name of the product is "바로마지".  In English (if it's a cream used in the west), it would probably be called "Baroma G".  I know this because I know the Korean alphabet.  Even if this doesn't help you, can you give me any idea as to whether or not my skin will regain its normal pigmentation?

I was able to find the ingredients in English online.

Betamethasone valerate 0.61mg
Chlorocresol 1mg
Gentamicin Sulfate 1mg

Will my normal skin color return?
