Cut that won't heal

I've had a cut on the tip of my right middle finger near the nail for roughly five months -- I tried to ignore it with the hopes that my body would heal it naturally, but I visited the doctor recently because it still hasn't healed. It's a small but deep cut that's surrounded by some sort of calcium related dryness of the skin. There are some pin-hole size blood blisters on the cut as well. I experience a little bit of pain when there's no pressure on it, and lighting-sharp pain when pressure is accidentally applied to it. For example, it usually bleeds a little when I play basketball. I've been using an anti-fungual/steroid cream called Clotrimazole and Betamethasone Dipropionate Cream USP that the doctor prescribed after my recent visit, but the cream seems only mildy helpful despite the fact that I've been applying it daily for the past month because there are still cracks/cuts in the skin. Any diagnosis/tratments?

I have the exact same issue on the middel finger of my left hand. I have tried Neosporin and bandages, as well as anti-fungal cream. It appears to be getting better but only cracks again and dries out.
