Dry area/pustules in pubic area

About 6 weeks ago, I developed several pimples in my groin area- nothing on my genitals, but all localized in the crease between my legs and hips within the hair growth area. They come and go, but are growing more frequent and are spreading to the hair growth area above my pubic synthis, though are still not on my genitals, and now I've got areas of inflammed, peeling skin about a centimeter wide. They are becoming quite uncomfortable and I feel very unappealing. I am a 21 year old female with one child (2 years of age) and started going to college (with an hour commute) around the time this started. I am type 1 diabetic.
Photos included do not involve naughty bits. Please help! I've tried antibacterial cream and antifungal cream.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
It looks like folliculitis skin. Apply warm compresses, Neosporin ointment and calamine lotion and avoid messing with it. Also wear cotton clothes. You  can take anti-inflammatory pain killers like ibuprofen or acetaminophen. If the lump persists then it will be best to get it evaluated from a dermatologist.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
