Full body of dot's - help needed :)

Hi. My cousin started to have dot's all over his stomach and back couple of years ago... they first started to show up in the back (at first they are black and then when he showered they became white and then he had white dot's), but now, after a couple of years, they were always growing, he always had them more and more, now he is full of them all over his back and front side of the body (stomach and chest and neck). He lives in Kosovo (I live in Slovenia) and he went to the doctor, but doctors there aren't good so they didn't even knew what's wrong with him so they didn't know to treat it, obviously, and that's why he asked me to take a picture of him (when I was on vacation at his place) and ask here if anybody knows WHAT IS THIS? Because we don't have a clue what are those... I posted couple of pictures of his back... I really hope somebody will know what it is and will tell me if it is cureable and what medicine to take... thank you and we both really appreciate your help.

Hello,
The symptoms and pictures are suggestive of pityraisis versicolor. It is a common skin infection caused by the yeast Malassezia furfur. This skin disease commonly affects adolescents and young adults, especially in warm and humid climates. Treatment involves topical and oral antifungal medicines.

Most cases of fungal infections respond to over-the-counter products, which contain any of several basic ingredients: miconazole, tolnaftate, terbinafine, ketaconazole and clotrimazole. You can consult a pharmacist and get any cream or lotion containing these ingredients. Some of them are Lamisil, Monistat derm, Mycelex, and Nizoral.
If the symptoms persist then please consult a dermatologist.
I hope it helps. Take care and please do keep me posted in case you have any additional doubts. Kind regards.
