Growth on right Index finger?

I've had a growth on my right index finger, in the middle of the finger on the knuckle, started out as a blind pimple and has slowly grown to the size of my fingernail. Is quite soft but has a very dry cap and sometime small amounts of pus will be noticeable from the surface.

Been to two different doctors, second Doctor did a biopsy which came back with the conclusion:

"A granulomatous inflammatory process is seen at one end of the biopsy. The changes may represent a granulomatous folliculitis and, although no pathogenic organisms are detected, an infectious aetiology should be considered. The extent of the inflammation is not known and hence is not possible to exclude other granulomatous disorders such as sarcoid"

My doctor (after the biopsy) attempted to remove it with liquid nitrogen. All this did was kill the top layer and leave a crater looking hole on the growth. It has since healed back to how it looked before the biopsy. Going to a dermatologist in august but cannot get in any earlier and I'm worried that it may be infected and potentially eat at the bone/tendons/muscle in my finger.

Any help on this would be great. Can provide picture if needed.

Thank you.
