Hand Dermatitis
Hello,
My mother has hand dermatitis as per the dermatologist that we visited a few months back, we went to two dermatologists and both said the same. Later I found that it is also known as Eczema. She's been taking meds and applying various prescribed creams for over an year now but its not helping at all. 2 days back I found some home remedies for dermatitis and we thought to try it but I wanted an opinion before trying anything because the medicines are not helping and its growing, she has it on both her legs now. I can post pictures if it would be of any use in order to assist.
The home remedies suggested are :
Mix camphor and sandal wood and make a paste and apply.
Make nutmeg paste and apply.
Apply Vitamin E.
Apply a mixture of castor oil and almond oil (in equal quantity) after shower.
Apply Zinc cream.
I am really worried for my mom :( please help.

My mother has been having the same problem on one of her fingers, and the cream has not been working at all, so she went to the doctor and the doctor said to apply the cream before bed then put a bag over it, so it doesn't rub off during sleep. I'm not sure if that is what your mom is already doing, but it could help.
