I have weird puss pimples on my fingers... what do I do?

Hi,

so about 4 months ago I got a bump on the back of my right index finger... it was painful to touch but not too bad...
the next day I realised a part of it had turned white like a pimple normally does... so i scratched it to open it up like you would with a pimple... and a whole heap of white/clear puss came out... over the days following that it kept forming more and more puss and was still quite painful... my finger swelled up a fair bit... and then it slowly healed itself and went away... but it did leave a scar.

I thought it was a one time thing and it was gone.

but a week and a half ago another one formed on the same finger (my right index finger) just a little below where the other one did... this one did the exact same thing and is now in the process of turning into another scar.

now.. This morning I woke up and realised another one has formed on my left hands index finger...

What is it and what should I do?

they are quite painful and seem to swell up my fingers each time i have this occur
