I keep getting 3 pimples near my an us, always the same place. What could it be?

I'm a 34 year old female. Healthy, no major illnesse's. After shaving this 1 time last year in my private area, I noticed I got pimples and brushed it off as sensitive skin or hair follicles. Over recent months I noticed that I get 3 pimples in the exact same spot, near my anus. It's uncomfortable not too painful. It looks like a small blister. I usually wipe it with surgical spirits and put some antibacterial ointment. But I don't know what it is. I was wondering if it had something to do with the herpes virus. But my partner doesn't get it at all. I keep asking. And checking lol....

It's always a good idea to have a doctor take a look at something like this so you can get an accurate diagnosis- they need to do an in person exam and gather more of your medical history.  There is a common cyst that can appear in that area- it's pretty normal, but you do need to get to a doctor to have it treated- I'd make an appointment to be sure of what it is and to get treated if it is a cyst.

Thank you for your response. I did actually go to the doctor today. He checked and said that it looks like a fungal infection. But I asked for a blood test just to be sure it's not HSV2. It's a common virus and can be innocently caught, I just need to know so I know how to deal with it. I get my results back next week.
Good idea to check things out throughly- glad to hear that you were able to get into the doctor!
