burning around penis

About a Month back I felt irritation when urinating. Found a small hard spot at the joint of the skin to penis. Family Doctor gave me a cream and som drugs but still have the same thing. Skin around the penis is tight ant I feel its dry. Its very painful. Please can you help me in this matter?

It can be due to cystitis or prostatitis. : It is swelling and irritation (inflammation or infection) of the prostate gland. It may cause pain or burning during urination, difficulty starting to urinate or emptying the bladder, weak urine stream and foul smelling urine.
