Burning sensation between my scrotum and anus

I have a burning sensation between my scrotum and anus.  the feeling is very uncomfortable and I actually need to place ice bag or something very cold just to feel better.  It is extremley hot, I do not know why I have had his problem for more then 8 or 9 years now.  I do not know whether it is weather related.  I do not think it is a STD, since there is no rash or itching.  Please help me. Thank you

Hello,
The symptoms you are describing could be of peripheral neuropathy in which there is abnormality of nerves .The reasons could be vitamin deficiency, physical injury (trauma) to a nerve, tumors, chemicals (lead, arsenic.) , autoimmune responses,  alcoholism and several other reasons.Get your Vit B12 checked and if there is deficiency ,your doctor will you the Vitamin B12 supplement .Consult your neurologist if the symptoms persist and he would consider  investigations like EMG,NCV,CT or MRI

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
