Itching Bumps

Hello, I'm 25 and I have been having these bumps that come and go on my genital area and sometimes they itch like crazy. Sometimes the they will get big and swell up and just bust after a few days. I want to know what causes this and what can I do about it?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
Without examination, confirmation of a diagnosis is tough but it can be contact dermatitis, rash due to friction rub, folliculitis, cysts ,molluscum contagiosum(multiple, small, dome-shaped papules, often with a central depression or plug) or genital warts(caused by HPV infection).

Apply warm compresses, Neosporin ointment and calamine lotion and avoid messing with it. You can take anti-inflammatory pain killers like ibuprofen or acetaminophen. If the lumps persist then it will be best to get it evaluated from a dermatologist.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your dermatologist. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

Shaving, waxing or wearing tight underwear can cause irritation and rashes. When do you notice they show up most? Are you sexually active? Could there be anything you are doing that is causing an allergic reaction? Do you notice other symptoms of a UTI?
If you are certain it is not sex-related, try an aloe-based cream or gel to ease the itching and redness. Be sure that it is only natural ingredients.
And if you are still stumped at what the cause could be, it's best to get it checked out by a doc.
