Itchy spots on back, no head just water liquid filled

For a number of years I have had tiny raised bumps on my forehead that never developed a head (unless I picked them) but were just filled with water or maybe oil.  These have now spread to my back and are now driving me mad they are so itchy...  One skin specialist told me it was from not cleansing properly, one GP said it was an allergic reaction and gave me antihistamines, another GP said it was Roscea and another said it was a form of Acne or Ezcema!  I am taking a low dosage of Vibromysin which is meant to be a good antibiotic for skin/acne but these back spots are now getting worse.

Has anyone had anything like this? They never seem to go beyond my back or my forehead.

Hello,
It sounds like dyshidrotic eczema. Wash the areas several times with fresh water. Do not use any cosmetic products at the sites. You can apply some calamine lotion at the rash as it will help in soothing the skin. You can take some OTC oral antihistamine medications like Benadryl or Claritin and see if it helps.

For mild-moderate symptoms a weak steroid may be used (e.g. hydrocortisone as dermacort), whilst more severe cases require a higher-potency steroid (e.g. clobetasol propionate, fluocinonide). Also use good quality hypoallergenic moisturizers. If the symptoms persist then pls get fungal infections ruled out from a dermatologist.

Hope it helps.Take care and pls do keep me posted on how you are doing or if you have any additional doubts.Kind regards.
