Little pimples inside of bottom lip

Hi, I am currently recovering from the flu and I have noticed tiny little pimples inside of my bottom lip. they are the same color as the inside of my lip. the one that is the biggest feels a little irritated. i was running 104 degree fever and noticed them the day before i got sick. what are these?

These small bumps are due to your sore throat and maybe due to canker sores. They should go away when your sore throat becomes fine. Avoid spicy or acidic foods during this time. You can use topical ointments like numbing ointments, such as benzocaine (Oragel), anti-inflammatory (steroid) gels, Benadryl allergy liquid mouthwash, oral preparations of steroids and vitamin supplements.
