Male Yeast Infection??

Doc-

Last Sunday morning after sex I noticed that I started developing little red bumps on the head on my penis. Before the 15 minute sex with my girlfriend, I put on lube and none of the red bumps were there. But right after I pulled out there were about 4, then a half hour later, 8 (pretty spaced out), then by the end of the day it was all over. It was not even noticeable pain wise, but a little itchy.

At first I thought herpes- but I was tested not so long ago and came back clean and have never had any symptoms since then. I have also been with my girlfriend since then, and she tests clean at the gyno every few months or so.

I looked up male yeast infection and made an appointment with the dermatologist- but they are booked until next week. I decided to try out monistat in the meantime (and added some white vinegar based on advice from previous posters) and it seems to be helping- but it isn't going away as fast as I thought it would (its been a couple days), and the monistat is almost making the blisters pop. Is this normal?

A male yeast infection would make sense- I am uncircumsized and will admit that I am not the most hygenic after unprotected sex with my girlfriend. But could this be a skin reaction, or something worse?

I appreciate the feedback- and from talking to my girlfriend (who was not previously exhibiting signs of a yeast infection), she is getting very itchy down there and will get a yeast infection test asap.
