Molluscum spread

I have had this for a bout a yr now but recently got it treated..I had starting talking to this girl the week of my treatment I ask the derm if this was something I should tell her I have(like an std) me and her are not sexually active at all shes saving her self for marriage..he said it should heal up and be gone not to worry about it well after treatment I notcied one more on my lower abdomon and thats it (think we missed it in treatment) well last night she was rubbing my stomach and I feared today she might have touched it she only rubbed it for like 15 secs tops..Ive read Dr. Rockoff (medhelp derm dr) say it is never really transmitted from people to people even given it contagoiusm name..My only question is will she get Molluscum on her hand now? Ive been quite upset and paranoid about it all day..Thanks

As I told you with fair amount of immunity the virus does not penetrate. And it is no serious condition either, being a selflimiting condition. You can even see small pretty children (more often) going to school with a few molluscum on the face! Do not make a mountain of molehill. Quit worrying,Ok?

The only way to prevent molluscum contagiosum is to avoid direct contact with the lesion. But then take heart, not every one who touched will get the condition. It is all to do with resistance. For more details read the CDC FAQ.

Best wishes.
