Eczema and Corticosteroid Injections

My dermatologist will only give me 2 steriod triamcinolone shots a year.  I am well aware of what the side effects are but I dont care.  Do any of you doctors out there give more than 2 a year?  The shot seems to only work for about 3 months than I have to wait and suffer since cream and oitments dont work anymore and have horrible cosmetic side effects.  I am a healthy 21 year old mal and have had this for 5 years on my face.  Never had it as a child and no one in my family history.  Are there any completely crazy surgeries out there (burning, face life.. anything)?  I have tried elidel, protopic, tons of steroid creams, oitments, doxycycline, PUVA, epicream, prednisone and steroid injections.  The only things that work are the injections and prednisone, but the immidiate side effects of prednisone are too much (face swelling ect...).  Is there anything else I can do?!!?!?
Thanks

A photodermatiis is a distinct possiblity.Try application of microfined zinc oxide as a sunscreen and avoid all cremes on the face.Bcarotene cap 1 day,and avoid touching plants or gardening if you do so.Steroids taken like this will spoil your health.

It is extremely itchy and red.  They come up in circles usually about a cm in diameter sometimes smaller.  It seems to have come and gone but for the past 3 years it has just come.  I don’t have any pictures right now, but I will take a picture the next time I break out bad (shouldn’t be to long).  What else could it be?  I don’t think it could be a fungal infection because wouldn’t the doxycycline antibiotic take care of that?  anywys thatnks for the reply!

There is no mention about your condition treated for,and exactly what are the symptoms?Which area of the face, whether there is itching?Ideally a pic too will be most useful.
