Rash nobody can figure out...please help

Hello all,
to make a long story short, I started getting little dots all over my chest legs and arms in March. They were so small that one could barely see them from 1-2 feet away. I still wanted it checked out and went to my dermatologist. She told me she didn't know what it was, took a biopsy (2 actually), and gave me some Cortisone. A week later I got the results, i was told it was a "medical eruption", which seemed odd to me because the only medication I ever take is an Advil or Sudafed when i'm "really sick". The rash went away a little and then came back again near my ams and on my chest. I went to get a second opinion from my other dermatologist, he looked at me, said he was 100% sure that what I had were warts, and gave me Condylox Gel 0.5% (originally used for genital warts) but he said it would help. I started putting cream on all the lesions which took me about 45 every time. I went back a week later, with no improvements. Now he wasn't so sure anymore, so he took a biopsy from 4 lesions and sent them in. He gave me Clobetasol Propionate 0.05%. I started using this cream and saw results in most places. The biopsy this time came back as "linchen planus". he told me to keep taking the cream. All seemed well, but after a trip to Holland it felt like i was "breaking out" again. This time it was mostly on my neck and shoulders and chest. I should add that my chest never really cleared up. I went to the dermatologist again and received Metro Gel 1% and Promiseb. Ultimately what I ended up doing was going to florida to be in the salt water with the sun (I am a firm believer in the "power" of salt water and sun to heal skin lesions") To sum it all up, my neck is SLOWLY getting better and my chest is clearing up slowly too, and with slowly I mean it takes weeks to see a small difference. I started taking antihistamines about a month ago and I feel like they are helping, but I can't be sure of anything anymore. I have added some pictures where one can see the current status of my condition. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
thanks in advance,
Niccolo

Here is a list of the creams i've been given:
Extra Strength cotisone (the over the counter kind)
Condylox Gel 0.5%
Clobetasol Propionate 0.05%
Promiseb
A yeast cream (I forget which one)
Metrogel 1%
and lately antihistamines

Well yes and no. The typical P.Rosea starts with what is called the herald patch, and later a scaly picture. You would perhaps look at the google images and conclude that it is not the same. But then the location and the course of the condition would bring to mind the rare variant that I speak of. And then ofcourse PLEAVA, a condition once again might look similar but obviously ruled out by biopsy. I hope you would make good recovery. Do consult your dermatologist, though.

You may actually be correct, even though my lesions do look slightly different. My rash started in March, so i'm guessing it would be the "fall cycle". It has been around for about 4 months now though..

I haven't been allergic to anything really, ever. So it was quite weird for this to pop up so randomly and not go away for so long. I am no longer in the area with the mold and the rash seems to be getting less. Also, I am taking metro gel 1%, which contains antibiotics, so if it is folliculitis then this should help?
Again, I have seen 3 dermatologists at this point, with no results.

Thanks for your help,
Nick

I am fairly certain this is a  variant of Pityriasis rosea- the papular variant, quite rare at that. However this would settle down spontaneously in a couple of weeks.

Hello,
Had you been allergic to mold, it would have caused symptoms till you had lived in the apartment. It is less likely to be due to mold but can be due to dermatitis skin. Mold allergy can cause skin symptoms but it as long as you are in contact with the mold. Get an examination done and get a blood test or skin tests for allergy done to confirm the diagnosis.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your dermatologist. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

I have seen 3 Dermatologists, and no one has given me an exact diagnosis. They have take multiple biopsys ranging in results from drug eruptions, to linchen planus, to dermatitis. I have to add again, it is slowly going away since I have started taking antihistamine. Also, the sun seems to be helping. I use SPF 30 and as far as I can tell the lesions seem to dissipate a lot faster in the sun. One thing I should add, I did live in an apartment for about 3 months which smelled like mold. I have been tested for yeast (came back negative), but is there any way that could cause this?
thanks,
Nick

Hello,
To me it does not look like lichen planus. However there is a possibility that this rash can be due to sweat dermatitis, heat rash or irritated hair follicles causing folliculitis. Keep the area clean and apply some topical antiseptics. Also wear loose-fitting cotton clothing and use an antibacterial soap or mild soap like dove. Avoid any kind of cosmetics. Topical antibiotics such as mupirocin or neomycin containing ointment can also be tried. Also please consult a dermatologist to get the diagnosis confirmed.
