My boyfriend has a break out of some sort on his face.

He says it feels like tiny hair like worms or something that is growing in his skin. It is causing him to have ingrown hairs and oozing pimple like bumps. It is extremely irritated and he feels like he can feel his hairs moving. I feel like it may be a fungal infection of some sort. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

I agree with purple. That's good advice. You do need a doctor to determine exactly what it is. If I had to guess, I'd say it's possible that it's either fungal or bacterial (impetigo) Since I'm not sure what it is, and these inexpensive products are useful in either case, (and since I know that not everyone can get to a doctor) I'd suggest washing thoroughly many times throughout the day. Wash your hands any time you've touched it so it doesn't spread. Dab with apple cider vinegar, follow with betadine. Keep dry. Please see a doctor if possible.

The best bet to get figured out what the cause is, is for your boyfriend to get to the doctor to have them take a look- they will need to do an exam and gather a bit more of his medical history to tell you what the cause is for sure.  For now, I'd recommend keeping the area clean (washing twice a day)- if he shaves, makes sure a new blade is being used and that it's kept clean as well.
