fordyce spots or herpes

I have three little small bumps on bottom lip near back corner. There really hard to see I have press my lip down to them it also have a burning sensation. I just noticed it today.. Is it herpes or fordyce ?

Hello,
These sound like irritated hair follicles. If there is any burning or tingling sensation then herpes can be thought of. Use mild soaps like dove to keep the area clean. Apply Neosporin or Bactroban cream on the red bump. If it decreases in size then it is folliculitis.
