Undrained skin abcess formed hard painless lump

I have a skin abscess above my navel for past 5 days, it has not been drained and I had been taking clindamycin 300 two times a day. I did not go to a doctor as I had been travelling and now the abscess has turned into a painless lump of approx. 1.5 cm diameter. I feel the lump under my skin and I am not sure if the infection still remains or not.

My question is that whether the infection is gone or is still remaining (dormant)?. Should I see a doctor before it may turn serious(sepsis, blood infection)?
